Cancellation policies & disclaimers

Cancellation policies

1. Photography sessions. A 20% booking fee secures your date (a 5% bank transaction commission is added and is non-refundable). The remaining balance is paid in cash on the day of the session, directly to the photographer. A cancellation fee of 20% of the session cost will not be refunded unless you cancel more than 48 hours in advance.
2. All other services. Transportation, tours, activities, boat charters, dining, rentals and other services are provided by independent local providers. In most cases a cancellation requires at least 48 hours' notice, but some providers have different policies for cancellations, changes, no-shows and refunds. We will always inform you of the cancellation policy that applies to the reservation of any service you book.

Disclaimers

1. Our role. Exploring Los Cabos works with professional local providers. We act as a concierge and intermediary, and the services you book are carried out by those independent providers.
2. Provider policies. The client acknowledges and understands that each provider may have different cancellation, refund and rescheduling policies, over which Exploring Los Cabos has no control, authority or responsibility. By booking, the client accepts this.
3. Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Exploring Los Cabos is not responsible for the acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, injuries, losses or damages arising from services performed by third-party providers. Participation in any activity is at the client's own risk.
4. Weather and safety. Water and outdoor activities depend on weather, sea conditions, port closures and safety decisions made by the provider or the captain. Activities may be changed, rescheduled or cancelled, and any refund or credit follows the provider's policy.
5. Health and suitability. Guests are responsible for making sure an activity is suitable for their health and fitness, for informing us of any relevant condition, and for following the instructions of guides and staff. We recommend travel and medical insurance. Insurance is not included unless stated.
6. Prices and availability. Prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise, are subject to change until your booking is confirmed, and depend on availability. Park fees, entrance fees, taxes and gratuities are not included unless stated.
7. Age and identification. Some services have a minimum age (for example, 18 years old for our bar crawl) and may require valid identification.
8. Accurate information. The client is responsible for providing accurate contact, flight and accommodation details. Delays, missed services or extra costs caused by incorrect information are the client's responsibility.
9. Rental equipment. Rental equipment must be returned in the condition in which it was received. Loss or damage may result in additional charges.
10. Third-party websites. External booking pages, such as the Grupo Rosa Negra reservation page, are operated by third parties and governed by their own terms and policies.
11. Courtesy gifts. Gifts and certificates offered by our partners, including the silver earrings and the jewelry certificate, are subject to availability and the partner's terms.
12. Acceptance. By requesting or booking any service, the client confirms having read, understood and accepted these policies and disclaimers.
